Born and raised in Newport, Tom will be a familiar face to fans of Great British Menu, having represented Wales twice, in 2020 and 2022. Now Executive Chef at two Michelin-starred Restaurant Story in London, Tom has built a career around thoughtful, precise cooking and a deep respect for exceptional produce and seasonality. Tom has spent almost a decade at Restaurant Story, alongside experience in some of the world’s most respected kitchens, including The Ritz in London, Per Se in New York and three Michelin-starred L’Enclume in the Lake District.

We feel incredibly fortunate to welcome Tom back to Wales and to our mountain retreat for what promises to be a very special night. Restaurant Story is renowned for its creative, narrative-led tasting menus, where exceptional British produce and the seasons inspire dishes designed to evoke memories and tell stories.

For this exclusive evening, Tom will bring a six-course Restaurant Story menu to Penmaenuchaf, showcasing the distinctive cooking that has earned the London restaurant two Michelin stars. It promises to be a night of pure indulgence, bringing together exceptional food, warm hospitality and a sense of culinary adventure in the mountains.

Tickets are £155 per person, and can be purchased as tables of two, four or six.
